Jas Kayser is one of the most exciting young drummers on the international scene today. Originally from London and a graduate of Berklee College of Music, she has quickly become one of the most sought-after drummers in modern jazz, Afrobeat and contemporary music.
Jas is currently touring worldwide as a permanent member of Lenny Kravitz’s band — a major milestone that has brought her playing to some of the world’s biggest stages. Alongside her work with Kravitz, she has also performed with artists such as Jorja Smith, Alfa Mist and Nubya Garcia.
As a bandleader and composer, Jas combines jazz, Afrobeat and Latin influences into her own unique musical style. She has received numerous awards and nominations, including Jazz FM Breakthrough Act and Parliamentary Jazz Newcomer in 2021, as well as a MOBO Award nomination for Best Jazz Act.
Despite her young age, Jas has already established herself as one of the defining drummers of her generation.
