Stephan Emig is one of Germany’s leading hybrid drummers, combining acoustic drums, percussion and electronics into a highly musical and innovative playing style. He has performed and recorded with artists including Chris De Burgh, Nico Santos, Gregor Meyle, Stefanie Heinzmann and Cairo Steps, while also working as an Ableton operator for major live productions. As an author, producer and professor at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg, Stephan is passionate about inspiring drummers through creativity, musicality and modern performance techniques.
