Max Klaas is one of Germany’s most exciting and versatile young percussionists. Originally from NRW, he began playing drums at the age of six before focusing on percussion under the mentorship of Rhani Krija.
Already at a very young age, Max performed with the WDR Big Band and became the youngest member of Germany’s National Jazz Orchestra. Over the years, he has toured and recorded with artists such as Sarah Connor, Nico Santos, Curse, Andrea Bocelli, Cairo Steps and many more.
Known for his incredible groove, musicality and stylistic range, Max has become one of the most in-demand percussionists in Germany’s live and studio scene.
